This video course focuses on configuring advanced Windows Server 2012 services. The topics that will be covered in this course are as follows: configuring file and storage solutions, configuring network services, configuring the active directory infrastructure, configuring identity and access solutions, configuring and managing high availability, and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery. The student will learn the configuration of advanced file services, including the use of the File Server Resource Manager role service in Windows Server 2012 to classify files for special handling. From there, the student will take a look at the deployment of DHCP servers throughout the enterprise, as well as some of the more advanced configurations for DHCP. Next, the student will learn about the distributed environments that use Active Directory as a directory service in order to better understand some of the reasons behind setting up a distributed environment.

This series will conclude with the student learning the importance of implementing business continuity and disaster recovery in the Windows Server 2012 operating system by taking a look at the process for configuring and managing backups of both servers and application data.
