One of the great features of the Citrix XenApp solution is that you can use policies to centrally manage and configure the sessions, connections, and capabilities of the users that connect your Citrix server farm. In this video course, Securing and Managing XenApp 6.5, the student will start out learning about what is involved in planning and implementing policies for Citrix XenApp server farms. They will also learn how to apply policies to make them work, how to create a policy, how to link it to the proper container, and how to troubleshoot them if they are not working appropriately. The student will learn how to configure Citrix policies, create worker groups, filter those worker groups, create computer and user policies, and how to filter those policies. Next, the student will learn the different performance and load options that the Citrix servers have, as well as understand what sessions are, how they are managed, different configuration options, and configuration settings that you want to consider for improving the performance of the server. From there, they will learn about the basics of securing the Web interface and securing access to Citrix XenApp servers and server farms. The student will learn of the various components that are available for managing XenApp servers, and last but not least, the student will learn various tools and techniques for troubleshooting Citrix.
Included in the course are demos and other material that will help demonstrate and reinforce the use of the tools and techniques that you will be learning.
